About the Creators of Sonraeth
Founded with a focus on worldbuilding and player-driven exploration, Ruunbrid Games is an indie studio producing evocative, high-fidelity dark fantasy RPGs. Combining modern game engine technology with traditional fantasy sensibilities, the studio strives to create vast, rugged environments, tactile combat systems, and compelling mythological depth. Its debut, in-development open-world title, Sonraeth: Velansyl, invites players into a forgotten continent shaped by ancient factions and untamed magic.
Set against the towering Taalenridge mountains, the province of Velansyl is now overrun by black market Smugglers, Leirenseth Cultists and Outcasts.
The ancient Zaeerthim people are long gone, and as you become the first Flesh Binder in 400 years, you must navigate the criminal underworld and master the resonance of Talari magic to keep the Caelsti Inquisition off your back.
